Corvus Cellars takes its name from Apollo’s raven in mythology, who suffers from eternal thirst.  That idea of “eternal thirst” resonated deeply with us… for wine, for passion, for balance.  Our passion is what led us to go “all in” in 2005.  We bottled our first vintage, bought raw dirt in Red Mountain and planted our vineyard.  Our goal, from the inception, has been to create limited production, world class wines that embody balance, depth and structure.   We are driven by our constant desire to fully showcase a wine’s unique quality....its "terroir", and to embrace the influences of the growing region, vineyard source, and all the micro-decisions throughout the wines’ life-cycle.  We continue to feed this passion and delight in sharing our end result with the people we encounter every day as we endeavor to quench our eternal thirst.   Corvus Cellars is about balance… from the earth… to the vine… to the wine.

We invite you to come visit us at the Port of Walla Walla Airport!

About the chef:
One of the remarkable things that happens
here in Walla Walla is that we get to meet some of the most creative and talented people in this country.  We have met celebrated chefs, artists, teachers and entrepreneurs during our time here.  One of those very accomplished people that amazingly fits the description for all of these talents and we feel honored to call a friend, is Robin Leventhal.

Robin formerly owned and operated Crave, a popular Seattle bistro serving up comfort food on Capitol Hill. Before becoming a chef, Robin was an artist. While pursuing a Masters in Fine Arts at the University of Michigan, she took a job in the catering department. This was only intended to be a summer job, but it quickly became clear she had a passion for food. Robin's Pacific Northwest roots are the foundation of her cooking, accented by the flavors of her world travels.
In 2009 she had a life changing experience as a “cheftestant” on season 6 of Top Chef where she finished in 5th. Since then, she has found an ideal balance in life spending time in the studio making art, teaching, and cooking. She keeps her knives sharp in kitchens for causes like Bristol Bay, winemaker dinners, catering and restaurant consulting.
With a commitment to community, she sits on the Slow Food Seattle Advisory board raising awareness of the value of food and knowing where it comes from. Additionally, she finds time to make the Premier Chefs Board a priority where she uses her culinary connections to raise money for Lymphoma research with the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center. This mission began in 2004 with Copper Cure after being diagnosed with 2 kinds of Lymphoma. Now a licensed auctioneer, Robin is able to further her passion for philanthropy by raising money for mission-driven benefit auctions. She also shares her passion for food as a Culinary Arts Instructor at Wine Country Culinary Institute in Walla Walla.

We are honored to have Robin partner with us on this dinner and are very excited about the beautiful menu she has created to compliment our celebration of spring, friends, and Corvus wines!

Last year's event was a great success and sold out very quickly.
