Our 2006 Cabernet Sauvignon continues in the same vein as our 2005.
The 2006 harvest was a classic season for
Washington State, with warm days and cool nights. Grapes matured gradually in
the late summer and early fall with even color and flavor development. At
pressing it was obvious we were in for a vintage of a big, rich, balanced wine.
On October 14, 2006, we harvested our grapes from the 14 year old vines of Red
Mountain Vineyards. The 100% cabernet sauvignon was aged 19 months in an equal
blend of French and American oak with a final alcohol content of 12.8% by
volume. The 2006 Corvus displays a deep ruby red color and exhibits blackberry,
blueberry, cherry, tobacco, cedar, and toasted marshmallows on the palate. The
cherry-berry characteristics intensely carry through on the mid palate and
finish. Tannins are soft and very well integrated, and uncommonly silky for a
Red Mountain wine.

Our 2007 Ruckus Red
Wine is classic 50% Cabernet Sauvignon and 50% Merlot blend from some of the
best AVA's in Washington State. This wine is rich and full with a
tight structure and a smooth finish. As with other Corvus wines, there
is balance to both the fruit and the acidity. This is a tremendous value and will go very quickly.
